Justice AA Birch Building Lobby Renovation

The Justice AA Birch Criminal Court Lobby Renovation was a design/build project for Metropolitan Nashville Government. We teamed with EOA Architects to redesign the lobby and relieve congestion near the elevator by providing quicker access to the upper floor of the Justice Center via a grand staircase.

The new staircase features exposed steel beams, terrazzo treads, stainless steel handrails and glass panels. Behind the staircase is a feature wall with a Trespa panel system and fry reglet reveals.  New tile flooring and high-traffic entrance glass doors were also installed. Much of the work was performed at night and on weekends so courts could proceed without interruption.
