The Principal’s Update – December 2021
We recently announced the beginning of construction on skincare salon ElàMar Esthetics Boutique in the Sylvan Supply complex on Charlotte Avenue. The 3,347-square-foot space is slated to have a living wall, pink finishes galore and copper accents. It is almost complete.
To add to our portfolio of work on Middle Tennessee schools, we recently started renovations on Summit High School in Spring Hill, adding two stories of classrooms (45,000 square feet) to the existing 266,000-square-foot building. The work is slated to be finished in Fall 2022.
Among our recently completed projects are Tribe and Play on Church Street. The bulk of the renovation was focused on increasing the size of Tribe’s interior doorways for better flow. The dance bar, Play, also got a facelift featuring a colorful and eclectic array of finishes, including teal-colored concrete floors, a bar with rainbow lighting, wood accents, granite countertops and open wood ceilings with the original trusses and tongue & groove decking.
We are nearing completion of the build-out of Southern Grist Brewing’s new East Nashville location on Douglas Avenue, where they relocated from Porter Road. The almost-3,500-square-foot taproom has two patio areas, a floating bar with 40 taps, banquette-style seating, a full kitchen, a merchandise and to-go area, TVs and 24-foot glass garage doors.
More updates to come!
