The Children’s Area at the Nashville Public Main Library was a design/build collaborative effort with the owner, EOA Architects and Dowdle Construction. Features include replicas of prominent downtown buildings, a rock-climbing wall, interactive reading fort, and a hanging magnifying glass.
Color changing LED lighting at the entry lobby, reference desk, and tween area draw attention progressively into the space. The design and construction team worked with a local artisan to bring to fruition unique urban elements inspired by Nashville architecture.
