HiFi Clyde’s

For this local, dive-style bar and restaurant in Midtown, we worked with the Monen Family Restaurant Group and Tinker Ma Architecture & Design (formerly Cogent Studio) to revamp the 6,000-square-foot space. It has since been coined an “adult playground” – complete with ping-pong, foosball and shuffleboard tables. 

Notable design elements include vintage light fixtures and wood trim to give the space a Roaring Twenties feel. The walls are also covered with murals — some of which were painted by the owners themselves. Others, including the large murals at the entrance and on the back patio, were painted by a well-known street artist from New York. 

This restaurant group owns other Nashville favorites like Milk & Honey and Taco Mamacita. Both Clyde’s and Milk & Honey originated in Chattanooga. It was a pleasure to work with them to open their Nashville location!
