Dowdle Underway with Movie-Complex-Turned-Church Project in Bellevue – Nashville Post
When we first began working on The Hills Church in Bellevue, the Nashville Post shared the news that the project had broken ground. The unique restoration project entailed converting an old movie theater – previously the AMC Bellevue 8 – into a 32,061-square-foot church space.
The article gives a short background on the owners: The Hills Church was established in 2012 and has been functioning out of temporary buildings until they found this one and decided to renovate it and make it their own.
The new space will include a 600-seat main auditorium, a youth auditorium and recreational space, a kids auditorium, a dedicated special needs room, offices for clergy and an outdoor prayer space.
The article also mentions that we worked with Dryden Architecture and Design on the project.
