Bordeaux Library

Dowdle Construction teamed up with Gobbell Hays Partners, Inc. architects for the design-build of the Bordeaux Library. The project consisted of a complete renovation to the 17,000-square-foot library on Clarksville Pike. Within this space, we added multiple conference rooms, a new teen room, a feature wall, a new circulation desk and all new finishes throughout. We also renovated the back offices to create a more comfortable working environment for staff.

The Bordeaux Library is one of the first libraries to set up the all-new room called “Studio NPL,” an innovative, technology-driven learning environment for teens aged 12-18. Designed especially for teenagers, the space features a large TV, speakers and other fun features to engage adolescents in an innovative, technology-driven learning environment.
