Green Hills Library

For the Green Hills Library, Dowdle Construction Group and Gobbell Hays Partners, Inc. converted rooms within the existing 25,544-square-foot building into a high-tech teen center, Studio NPL – an innovative, technology-driven learning environment for teens aged 12-18. Daily workshops are mentor-led and focus on building 21^st-century skills in STEM, digital literacy and career readiness. Whether they want to be an engineer, filmmaker, graphic artist, musician or anything else, Studio NPL has resources and the nurturing environment for teens to explore and engage their passions.

The challenge with this project was performing this work while keeping the library operational. We did that by putting up dust walls and using air scrubbers to keep dust from migrating outside the construction areas.
